Chicago Is Next, And I Want You in the Room!
Pelvic Care for Acupuncturists · June 20 + 21, 2026 · Chicago, IL
There is something that happens in the room when a group of acupuncturists comes together to learn pelvic care. I have watched it happen city after city. Practitioners walk in with nervousness that becomes curiosity, and by the end of day two, something has shifted. Not just in what they know, but in how they see the body, how they see their patients, and honestly, how they see themselves.
That is what I am bringing to Chicago this June.
What the Chicago Practical Actually Is
This is a two-day, hands-on, clinically grounded immersive experience. It is not a lecture. It is not passive learning. You will be on your feet and on the tables, practicing techniques the techniques and building the kind of confidence that only comes from doing.
In this practical, we lay the foundation. We cover the ethics and safety of pelvic care, because this work requires it. Then we move into anatomy, palpation skills, and evaluation. We’ll work with the concomitant structures of the anterior pelvis and posterior pelvis. Then, we go deeper. We work with the pelvic floor and bring the whole treatment plan together. Plus, there’s time to ask questions specific to your patient population and treatment structure. .
You will earn 16 CEUs/PDAs in person (and 4 more online), NCBAHM, ABORM, CA and FL approved.
Who This Is For
This practical is for YOU, the acupuncturist who already treats gynecology, obstetrics, urology and sports med, who is ready to expand and close the gap.
Your patients are already coming to you with pelvic symptoms: chronic pelvic pain, painful periods, postpartum dysfunction, incontinence, fertility challenges, sexual health concerns. We’ll support you in meeting them there more fully. Maybe you have been curious about pelvic care for years but did not know where to start. Maybe you serve a population that deserves a practitioner who sees and treats the whole body without hesitation.
This is your invitation.
From a Practitioner Who Has Taken It Twice
I want you to hear from someone who knows this work from the inside. Nashalla has been a Tibetan medical physician for over 26 years and is a Five Element acupuncturist. She has taken this course not once, but twice (and she’s not the only one). Here is what she shared:
"I want to talk to you about functional pelvic health and why it's so important for acupuncturists to learn about it. I have taken twice the course from Pelvic Acu by Dr. Krystal Couture and it's really transformational. It's transformational for you to just really experience your own pelvic health and your own centering of your body, but then being able to offer that to clients and see the transformation of them being able to inhabit spaces in their body that they haven't always felt comfortable being in. And then as well, I treat a very large population of LGBTQ folks who don't always feel safe." -Nashalla, Tibetan Medical Physician & Five Element Acupuncturist
Pelvic health is not just clinical. It is personal, emotional, and deeply human. When you learn to hold this space for your patients, everything about your practice deepens.
