Tears of profound gratitude, love and hope streamed down my cheeks in the closing circle of our Los Angeles practical. I'm not usually much of a crier in public, but as we reflected upon pelvic acupuncture, practical, my voice began to shake, my eyes filled, and the tears rolled.
As I was speaking, I became poignantly aware of the magnitude of this work. It is transforming practices, by closing the gap and serving women's health, men's health and transgender health in a more complete way. It's reaching populations and conditions that were previously elusive not just to acupuncturists, but to the medical community as a whole.
It's also meeting practitioners exactly where they are and serving their own healing processes. Practitioners are having releases in their bodies and hearts, and shifts in their mindset. They're stepping into who they are practitioners in authenticity and with confidence. Our weekends are a space for breakthroughs. There are space for expansion. There are a space for revitalization.
In the years, it took me to build this program and bring it into its current tangible form, I knew it had this potential, but when I look into the eyes of every single practitioner who attends the essence of this medicine becomes real.
